Why is mental health research so important?

One in five Australians has a diagnosed mental health condition, and more people between 15-44 years are dying from suicide than any other cause.

There’s an enormous amount of work being done to treat people who have a mental health illness. But it’s time the question was answered – why does it happen? And more importantly, how can we stop it?

Only research will provide the answers and create a life free from mental illness.

How it works

Take the challenge, and we'll back you with guides on how to fundraise, tips to stay motivated, and hit your fundraising goals.
